Who I am

The short version
- This is a mostly static website that uses a small number of outside services to run.
- I don't sell your information.
- I don't use your information for advertising.
- I collect what you choose to send me, plus technical and usage information collected by the services that deliver, secure, and measure this site.
What I collect
- Information you send me. If you email me, I receive whatever you include, such as your name, email address, company, and message. This site has no contact form.
- Information you send when you book a call. When you book a call through Calendly, Calendly processes the information you provide and shares the booking details with me. Calendly's own privacy notice applies to how it handles what you enter there.
- Technical information. Cloudflare delivers this website and helps protect it from abuse. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and approximate location, and I can view that information, including aggregated traffic and security data, through Cloudflare's dashboards.
- Analytics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how this site is used and how well it performs. Cloudflare is configured not to inject the Web Analytics script for visitors in the EU. That regional setting applies only to the Web Analytics script; Cloudflare still processes the delivery and security information described above for all visitors, including those in the EU.

Cookies and local storage. Cloudflare uses security cookies, including
cf_clearance, to remember successful security checks and help protect this website from automated abuse. This website also stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage.
How I use it
- To reply to you.
- To provide services you ask about.
- To keep the site working, secure, and performing well.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who I share it with
I share information only with the service providers that help run this site, currently:
- Cloudflare, for website delivery, security, and usage/performance analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Calendly, for scheduling. See Calendly's privacy notice.
- Google Workspace, for email. See Google's privacy policy.
I share information with them only as needed for them to provide those services. I may also disclose information if required by law.
How long I keep it
I keep emails and booking-related information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, consistent with applicable legal obligations. Cloudflare, Calendly, and Google Workspace retain technical and service information according to their own practices, described in the privacy policies linked above.
Client engagement data
This notice covers the website, inquiries, and scheduling. Additional confidentiality and data-handling terms for client work are set out in the applicable engagement agreement. That agreement supplements this notice for client work; it doesn't limit any privacy rights you have under applicable law.
Your choices
You can ask what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and I may keep certain information where permitted or required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Tracking signals
The website's own code does not implement a response to browser Do Not Track signals.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this notice changes, I'll post the updated version here with a new date.
